About Evie

Meet Evie, a darling little Havanese girl who is just beginning to discover everything around her. At this young age, much of her day is still devoted to growing, resting, playing, and enjoying gentle attention, but we are already getting little glimpses of the puppy she is becoming.

She enjoys being around people and having opportunities to explore at her own pace. As her curiosity grows, so does her interest in the sights, sounds, toys, and activity around her. Of course, after all that puppy exploring, there is always time to settle in and recharge.

We are looking forward to watching Evie over the coming weeks as more of her individual personality begins to shine through.

Watching Her Personality Blossom

One of the sweetest parts of raising a young puppy is seeing her personality unfold a little at a time. Evie is still very young, so there is plenty we have yet to discover about her.

She is beginning to show the social, people-oriented nature for which Havanese are so well loved. As she grows, new experiences will give her opportunities to become more confident, curious, and comfortable with the world beyond her litter.

Every puppy develops differently, and we enjoy allowing Evie the time she needs to grow into her own unique personality.

Early Socialization

Evie is being raised in a home environment where socialization happens naturally throughout the day. Regular handling, interaction with people, and exposure to ordinary household sights, sounds, and routines give her opportunities to experience new things in a comfortable setting.

As she gets older, those experiences will gradually expand. Our goal is to help her become familiar with the kinds of everyday activities she may encounter once she joins her new family.

Early Training

As Evie reaches the appropriate age, her early routine includes introductions to:

• Leash training

• Potty training

These are beginning lessons, and we don't expect a young puppy to have them completely mastered before leaving us. Introducing these routines early simply gives Evie a foundation her new family can continue building upon.

Health

Before going home, Evie will have:

• Age-appropriate vaccinations

• Routine deworming

• A complete veterinary health examination

• Permanent microchip identification

Her parents have also been genetically tested for common breed-specific conditions as part of Prestige Pets' breeding program.
