About Cara

Meet Cara, a darling little Shih Tzu girl who is enjoying this sweet stage of puppyhood. She has a gentle nature and enjoys spending time around people, playing with her toys, and exploring the little world around her.

After a busy stretch of puppy play, Cara is also happy to settle down for some rest and attention. That combination of curiosity and affection makes her such an enjoyable little puppy to have around.

Getting to Know Cara

Cara is beginning to show the people-oriented nature for which Shih Tzus are so well loved. She enjoys being included in what's happening around her and is becoming increasingly interested in new sights, sounds, and activities.

She has a nice balance between playful moments and quieter ones. One minute she may be investigating something new, and the next she may be perfectly content relaxing nearby.

Cara is still young, so her personality will continue to develop as she grows and experiences more of the world around her.

Early Socialization

Cara is being raised in a family environment where she receives regular interaction and handling. Everyday household sounds, routines, and activities provide natural opportunities for her to experience new things.

These early experiences are introduced at an age-appropriate pace to help Cara become increasingly familiar with people and different situations as she prepares for life with her future family.

Early Training

Cara is already getting a start on several important puppy routines:

• Crate training in progress

At this age, these are introductory skills rather than finished training. Our goal is to help make these routines familiar so her new family has a helpful foundation to continue building upon after she goes home.

Before going home, Cara will have:

• A complete veterinary health examination
