Getting to Know Fiction

Fiction is beginning to show the social and affectionate qualities for which Cavalier King Charles Spaniels are so well known. He enjoys interaction and seems interested in what's happening around him, making everyday experiences an opportunity for exploration and learning.

Like every young puppy, Fiction's personality is still developing. As he encounters new experiences over the coming weeks, we'll continue getting a better glimpse of the companion he is becoming.

For now, his days are filled with all the important things a puppy needs—playtime, interaction, learning, and plenty of rest.

Early Socialization

Fiction is being raised in a family environment where he experiences the normal sights, sounds, routines, and activity of everyday life. He receives regular handling and interaction, giving him opportunities to become increasingly familiar with people and his surroundings.

These positive early experiences are an important part of preparing him for the transition from our home to his future family.

Fiction is already getting an introduction to several basic puppy routines:

We don't expect a young puppy to have these skills completely mastered before going home. Instead, these early introductions help make the routines familiar and provide his new family with a starting point for continued training.
